As part of you’re regular sales training exercises, consider the following 5 time management techniques…

1) Lists – at the beginning of each day make a list of the most important things you need to do for that day (start with 5 or 6 things)

2) Prioritize – prioritize your list and work them through to completion, checking them off as you go

3) Focus – stay focused on the task at hand – do only one at a time

4) Don’t Procrastinate – do the most uncomfortable tasks first then move on to the fun stuff

5) Trust the Process – don’t panic if you do not complete your entire list. Creating new habits takes time. You’ll get more efficient with practice

Trust the sales training process. Try new things – especially if they make you uncomfortable, as this is a sign that you may need to step out of your comfort zone. Finally, it takes 21 days to develop a new habit so don’t be so quick to quit, and make sure any habit you develop is a good one for your sales success.
